Mrs. King County just made in time for the parade and rode along in the truck. Afterwards we had a delicious dinner at a mexican restaurant. Also in the picture Mrs. Olympia's daughter.

Yelm Prairie days is a 3 day long event in Yelm hosted by the Lion's club and Rotary. To kick off the festivities they hold the annual parade. This years parade was the largest ever! Over 100 entrants and a huge crowd to watch. Everyone was so friendly it was really fun. The weather is always in question here in Washington and we carefully watched as the day went on but in the end it turned out beautiful and Sunny!! Oh what beautiful days we can have here in Washington, rain or shine I love my state!!!

It's official we have a new set of Queens! The Little Miss Washington pageant was held in Moses Lake, Washington at the McCosh Ampitheater. It was an overcast day but still warm enough to be outside. Their were 9 contestants competing for 3 different titles. Mini Miss Washington ages 4-6, Little Miss Washington ages 7-9, and Petite Miss Washington ages 10-12. The girls were all so wonderful. I was amazed at their confidence and positive attitudes. It was tough being a judge they were all so great!

SHE Soiree Life Center Church

Friday night I helped our Mrs. Washington 2010 Carla Richards with a fabulous event for Women's ministry at Life Center Church. The event was a girls night out totally Glammed out! The church was turned into a swanky lounge with a Glam Bar, Hors Devours, signature SHE Sunset Mocktail and even a photo area!

Music was provided by Dawkins & Dawkins local musicians who rocked the house! The speaker was Eileen Hunter who provided words of inspiration to everyone.

Mrs. Washington 2010 Carla Richards was in charge of the Military wives lounge. Massages were given free by Mrs. Snohomish County Jessica Riggs and her sister. Forza coffee company donated money for the event and gave coffee cards and discount cards.

An auction item donated by our Mrs. Washington 2010 Carla Richards for the Idlewilde school is the crowning of Little Miss Idelwilde and a pizza party with bingo and Rootbeer floats for the class! This is a sought after item every year. This years winner Grace was so excited to be the new Miss Idelwilde. Her mom surprised her on her birthday with the gift!

I had so much fun meeting the students and getting to crown Grace. I also got to share with them about my platform "Unlock your Potential". We all had so much fun together. On our way out we stopped by the music room and met the teacher and her class. I was able to talk to these students too about the importance of Music Education. Carla had visited these classes last year as well, but it's always fun to meet another Queen!
